I had been shopping for a New Cherolet Traverse for a while and came across a vehicle that I liked on Mike Castrucci online. I called and spoke with a sales person(Mike Eimer) to request more information on the vehilce that I was interested in. I asked him to give me the final price that I would expect to pay before taxes and title for I was in the position to purchase the vehicle for cash that evening. He quickly responded that the price after all discounts was $25,995 and then, at my request, confirmed the amount in a text to me with the lot number of the vehicle. I received a very different price upon arrival after I drove 45 minutes to the dealership. The new price was now $28,135 and he said he made a mistake. He then proceeded to tell me that he had sold over 4000 cars for Castrucci that past 25 years and was known for his honesty with clients. At that level of experience in car sales and after confirming the price to me in writing I find it very hard to believe that to be an honest mistake. I am thoroughly disgusted at the sales tactics used at this dealership and I will never return there nor recommend them to anyone.
